7 Causes Of Why Did Bloggers Do Not Read (The Forgotten) Terms Of Service

7 Causes Of The Forgotten TOS
The following web fact can be said to be one among many ironies in blogging which is the most ironic. This irony is: A blogger wants to read a Terms of Service just after he got problems.

This irony is also, apparently, not depended by personal background of the blogger himself, whether he is intelligent or uneducated, whether he is from a developed country or underdeveloped country and much more. All of these bloggers, have experienced problems such as blog has been deleted, blog has been marked as spam blog and other similar cases. Despite that sometimes, these problems can also occur due to a system error.

However, if it calculated and compared, most blogs that are deleted or problematic, are owned by bloggers who are unethical, or bloggers who do not have ethics yet.

The interesting things behind this irony, and it is very likely to be the causes of why did bloggers do not read and understand the Terms of Service (or other similar regulations) first are not limited to:
  1. Language barrier. The blogger comes from so many countries and languages. When a blogger is from a country of, for instance, A, while language of country A is not used to support a TOS, then he is very likely to not read its Terms of Service. Even if a language is to support a TOS, then translation page of TOS, sometimes, is less than perfect. There is a TOS in English, but obviously, not all bloggers have the ability to use English in which is qualified.
  2. Web is just an unreal world. Perhaps this is the most dominant cause that makes bloggers (especially those bloggers who are blogging just for fun) do not to read and understand TOS. Web regarded merely as a space, where they can do and express all they want, without any party that could ban them in real and decisive. They also tend to think that everything on the web is free to use.
  3. Difference jurisdiction. A rule, including the Terms of Service, as relevant, will refer to the law of a country where a website (TOS) is located. This would tend to make some bloggers from various countries, in which its countries are different from a website's TOS country, do not feel bound by the TOS. In fact, this is completely wrong, even if they come from different countries, they are the party who get service, where, they have an obligation that is binding on them. In this context, it is important for a blogger to maintain good name and dignity of his country.
  4. Slow internet connection (regular). This may sound strange and less logical. But surely there are some bloggers who use slow internet connection, then they set the effectiveness and efficiency of time in blogging, by simply opening pages that are highly relevant to content of their blogs, such as source, reference and other pages that are included in one topic. This will minimize the opportunity for a TOS page, to be read and understood by them.
  5. Bloggers who were bored to TOS pages. They, may be, have very often, used and understood by so many pages of TOS from various websites. They are, slowly, finding common ground among many of these TOS. Finally, they simply click or give a check as a claimed sign of agreement, without reading it thoroughly first. Also, because they are bored with contents of TOS pages. In fact, clear and certainly there are differences between all of Terms of Services on the web. And these differences, which could lead to their blogs deleted.
  6. Because indeed, they are the real newbie bloggers. They were probably can be grouped into classes that have "an exemption". They are ordinary people who really new to blogging, even many of those who are just going to recognize the Internet. Except for those who have high sensitivity and intellect, so they know in terminology, what stands behind the TOS?.
  7. Unethical bloggers, who did consider that a Terms of Service is not essential and only a formality page. Including those who think that even if they violate the TOS, they will have very little chance to get sanctions and punishments because there are tens or even hundreds of millions of bloggers who are under the same TOS. They are the spammers who did have bad intentions in blogging.
Whatever the reasons outlined in 7 causes of above, however, has led to an ironic fact on the web, the Forgotten TOS.
