Blog Content And Blog Template, Which One Is More Important?

Blog Content Or Blog Template
Surely, you ever asked yourself about one thing, whether conscious or unconscious, whether directly or indirectly. This question is: Which is more important, a blog template or a blog content?.

At the time that question came in your mind, at least you can already feel a little sign that blogging is a learning process. In the past, when you start blogging for the very first time, it is very likely that you would prefer blog content, or to say, you prefer to sell your own words, which then produce texts in your articles.

Why so?, Because indeed and basically, blogging is an online activity, facilitated by a page on web, which aims to express ideas, thoughts and opinions you have. Thus, media or format that is suitable for a blog's content is text. So it was true, when someone says that a blog is like an online diary and it is more personal.

As a real world that has a dynamic, then blogging is same as well. This dynamic is then lead to a shifting of intrinsic meaning of blogging. You can see this fact from many blogs on web that publish videos, images, songs and the like, or they that are not text-based content, words or thoughts. However, this fact is still more fair and reasonable, when compared with blogs that rely on templates. That is, videos, images, songs and the like, is still more expressive and informative than a blog template.

Let's review about blog template; It must be recognized that a good blog template is it is a must for a blogger. But lest, a blog template to be number one priority. Even if a blogger should create and design his blog template, then he's doing it is to aim for convenience of readers or users in seeking useful information from his blog (content). Or, to make it SEO-friendly feel (read: fast in loading).

You certainly often or ever find blogs on web is wrong in terms of how to manage. These blogs use templates that are very good as a big website. But when you read content in it, its blog content is not worthy enough to how cool the blog template. In addition, there are also many blogs with excessive template, for example: using a heavy background image to be loaded, too many columns, too dark background so texts are difficult to read and much more. The bad effect of this is only one, organic or regular reader will leave the blog.

Conversely, when there is a blog with a rather bad template, but it contains quality content and is accordant to what information searched by user, then it is probable that reader will come back to the blog. That is, content quality of a blog, especially in text-based, should be prioritized ahead of a blog template. And do not let happen, trying to divert reader's attention from blog content to blog template. All ethical bloggers know, Content is King, while Blog Template is just a servant of the king.
